The Fabulous Animal Detective Agency is a small crew with big curiosity. Five frames were drawn by Chasdatie of the detectives in civilian dress, then the sixth depicting them as Full-Fledged Detectives.

Oh, hello there! Welcome to the World Headquarters of the Fabulous Animal Detective Agency. If this is your first time here, let me introduce myself. My name is Chasdatie Delicate. I am fourteen years old, and I serve as the Agency's Official Recorder. I sit at a desk-chair to write down their cases, organize their notes, and sometimes doodle in the Case Files.
I speak with Cheerio the Parrot because he knows my language. The other members (Apollo the Cat, Abby the Dog, Trixie and Dixie the Ferrets, and Freddie the Chameleon) enjoy being petted and fed treats, but they speak Animal Language, not Human Language. So I have to trust Cheerio to translate for me.

What are Chasdatie's Case Files?
Every chapter comes with a matching case file page. It looks like a real investigation page, drawn by hand and organized so kids can follow the evidence. The original spiral-bound Case Files booklet is safeguarded by Chasdatie - it is the only one she has!
Case files are simple, visual, and repeatable. They teach observation and logical thinking without feeling like homework.
Kids can read the chapter, then look at the case file and say, "Oh. That matters."
